Gay Man's Body Found in Toronto Condo

(April 30, Toronto)  A 24 year old has been arrested in the killing of a well known gay man in downtown Toronto.  The body of 49 year old antiques dealer Neil Parker was found in the bedroom of his condominium at 77 Maitland Place in the city's Gay Village, after neighbours complained of a foul smell coming from the man's apartment.

Police will not say how Parked died.  They originally believed it was the result of a natural causes.  When it was determined to be a homicide, and after police made a search of the apartment, a warrant was issued for a man who lived with Parker.

24 year old Christopher Partak was arrested Sunday and he will appear in court Monday.

Partak is charged with first degree murder.  Neighbours say Partak was Parker's boyfriend
